Mr. Henkin will also take questions from the audience and sign copies of his books.<p> Description of the book:( It is 1987, and Julian Wainwright, aspiring writer and Waspy son of New York City old money, meets beautiful, Jewish Mia Mendelsohn in the laundry room at Graymont College. So begins a love affair that, spurred on by family tragedy, will take Julian and Mia across the country and back, through several college towns, spanning twenty years.<p> About the author:( Joshua Henkin is the author of the novel "Matrimony" (Pantheon, 2007, Vintage, 2008), which was named a New York Times Notable Book, a Book Sense Highlight Pick of the Year, and a Borders Original Voices Selection. Meets weekly in warm weather, at area playgrounds. </p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0;"><b> PLAYGROUPS </b></p> <p style="margin-top: 0;"> As a member, you and your child are eligible to join a regular, age-appropriate playgroup. Groups usually meet weekly, rotating in members&rsquo; homes. </p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0;"><b> HOOT OWLS (Husbands Out Of Town Or Working Late) </b></p> <p style="margin-top: 0;"> A pizza dinner playgroup for all ages. For moms who often find themselves eating dinner alone with their kids, this is an opportunity to get together and socialize while the kids entertain each other. Walk with strollers through the woodland on the pedestrian loop around South Mountain Reservation. (45mins, no hills and a medium pace).
